Hard work. Lots of algae in the river making the wading very slippery. Managed a surprise sea trout on nymph towards the bottom of the beat. Very cold for late April.

Was fishing this beat today caught 4 trout around the 1lb mark. 1 was a little bigger lovely fish. No salmon caught but spooked one and saw it jump and splash other than that no other salmon detected all trout caught on rapala lure
