Abernant gauge showing 0.6m and falling.
2ft visibility and lots of leaves and debris coming down. 5 OOS Trout on Nymphs, Red Tag, lost another OOS Trout. No fish rising despite a steady trickle of olives coming off from 11am throughout the afternoon. 1 grayling hooked and lost on an emerger pattern, shook the hook at the net, about 12oz.
First time on this lovely beat, will be back when the river is below 0.45m and visibility is better for wading.

another sunny warm day. river up very slightly from the previous day and looking good. not very productive - only one fish but very happy with a chub which was at least 4lb. interestingly he had a rusty trout nymph stuck in his lip - removed of course.

nice warm autumn day and river slightly up on previous day. salmon not obliging though, although there was some excitement in the afternoon with at least 6 salmon seen jumping just downstream - ranging from a small silver grilse to much bigger but coloured fish. still nothing caught or touched but at least kept the confidence levels up for the rest of the day...
