Fished on my own from 05:30 and like yesterday bites hard to come by in a slow low clear river
Two chub came early on and one lost barbel were thr only bites recorded

River v low fished 3 swims fish out of them all.took a friend along to catch his first barbel he had a double at 10.04 first cast in the second swim we fished.caught some clonking chub also all fish mainly on pellet feeder .lovely days fishing on a cracking stretch of the beautiful wye.will return.

River level was very low , had to work hard to find the fish , all caught on feeder with pellets and freelined luncheon meat. All the barbel and chub were around the 3- 4 pound mark.

Tough fishing in general with the water still very low but managed to take out one 10lb+ salmon on a nymph using a 10ft #3 nymph rod which was extremely lucky
