Fished at the end of the beat in fast shallow water. There was a lot of weed/algae in the water which interfered with the bait when using a feeder. One of us changed to trotting a stick float on meat and caught over 30 chub of various weights up to around 3lb. Barbel were caught on marine halibut pellet and various broillies with the best over 9lb. Great days fishing even with the river still very low. Great Beat

Fabulous location. Very windy and wind changed direction constantly. Best fish caught at top of reservoir.
Fish caught up and down cast. Size 14 black spider and well ginked bumble. Great fun will definitely be back for another go at this location.
