Fished the beach on the float, meat and pellet. Morning and late afternoon for the barbel biggest to 7lb.
Chub all through the day a few around the 4lb great fun.
So nice to be able to drive to the pegs, makes a pleasant change.

No fish today couple caught around me and on the other side res very low

Dry fly & Nymph. Beautiful stretch of river. Only small fry observed. Zero catch due to operator error.

A cloudy day with occasional showers. The river was up a bit and coloured. Nymphs did the job today, especially a Walt's Worm variant and the Gasolina Perdigon. I fished until about 1430.
