Hottest day of the year and the river was very low. Bring on the rain.

The weather was hot with bright sunshine and a river very low and looking decidedly green.
The fishing predictably was difficult with one Barbel being landed at the death.

Beat:The Rocks

Fishing:Trout (River)

Despite the low water and hot weather the fishing was excellent .Two of the grayling were about 1lb 8oz and in perfect condition . One moronic canoeist literally scraped through part of the beat , when politely reminded of the agreement , he proceeded to beat his paddle on the pool surface before leaving in a huff . This problem is becoming more commonplace and needs sorting .
