river very low no barbel but the chub were ravanous.Nice day on the creel

Hi, i had four hours of nil catch, i was using worm on float, also i tried worm on ledger, no luck, it was a glorious day though. There is always next time. Regards Tommy

Easy access and parking, and easy walk. However, hard work finding a swim the banks along the field have a wire fence and are over grown an although there is accessible pegs on the upper beat the trees where so overgrown as to make thing difficult.

Just needs some effort to make it fantastic

River low, with a bit of colour, fished open ended feeder with pellet. Not a single bite. Will be back.

Weather lovely. 2 nice fish. Fish rising. Only saw 2 others fishing more could be done to attract more fishermen. Didn't see a bailiff. Can't see why ticket machine can't open. £3 admin. Seen lot campervans staying overnight also remains of fires and someone was swimming. Up past nature reserve access to water a no no overgrown sad. Road to tower bad. The access to other side of water gate locked due to flood. Time now get that road soughted open gate. All this difficult for disabled persons. Sadly unless they sought issues and provide better fishing facitites people will not fish. Such beautiful area.

River low and very clear and fish were spooky. Sad to find this beat quite dilapidated these days. The description on the website should be updated to warn that the walkway is hazardous. That said there are still plenty of fish and was treated to one very visual take of my dry fly. Couldn’t crack what his brethren wanted though!
