went up just to look for later in the year, but had the gear, got a wader full of water no dry socks or trousers [went on a motorcycle} but on the plus side stonking trout to a pheasant tail nymph ,15" fish .

A day too late ! This far up the catchment I believe you have to fish on falling water and that was the day before. Thus very pretty as always but a complete blank - not even any fish spooked. Any suggestions this was somewhat due to my lack of expertise are probably more than legitimate , but got to keep trying.
