2 nice browns returned 25 perch returned. loud music blaring early on ppl swimming in the lake lots of campers and ppl throwing things in for their dogs but we were in the wrong for paying to fish fished the lake for more than 40 years can’t see me going there for a long time I will find somewhere else very disappointed

I caught my first barbel ever on this stretch on Sunday.
I'm sure if I had moved further down and explored more pegs I may have picked up a few more bites and fish, but I was fishing a river for the first time and I do not yet know if I am fishing the right areas and my confidence is low.
A beautiful stretch of river, definitely wouldn't like to attempt the drive back up the hill if it was wet, my car struggled to get grip on the path back to the main road I'd say this could become a serious concern for some with smaller cars.
