Only day of the trip the river was low enough to float fish. Nick had loads of small chublets off the top croy . I found the big chub lower down on the float great fun at the time. Neil however fished the feeder in the first meadow.

A hard day river looked good but didn't fish, barbel and chub on pellet, the others were eels. Well prepared stretch with good access.

4 nice rainbow trout using Blue Fox vibrax spinner, Size 3. 2 at about 1-1.5lb 2 at about 2lbs
The water level is still very low, to the point that the normally submerged bridge is still visible at the top end of the reservoir, but rising fairly quickly. In the few hours I was there it must have risen at least a foot.
