A very quiet start with only one fish early on. At around 4pm the fish started rising and a further 7 were caught, all on a small Adams Irresistible.

Fantastic day, sporadic hatches and rises through the afternoon and then continuous action from 7pm onwards with a good hatch of olives. A few fish on PTN in the day, all others on small olive emerger patterns. Two fish of over 2lb, and numerous others over 1lb.

Red letter afternoon/Evening! Brought 16 beautiful trout to hand all in a few hours…
Shared between nymphs, spiders and LDOs..

Beat was clean, easily accessible and in great shape.

1 x brown trout 12'', taken on a grey Parachute Adams. Nice dry fly water above the bridge. Sporadic rises of yellow mayfly and brown duns throughout the day. Good beat.
