Fished very well today. Had 3 on bottom fishing and 1 on the fly. Really nice calm day. Plenty of fish rising, happy I got my bag limit. Would come back again loved it. Well stocked res.

A nicer day then the Saturday with very little wind and some sun. Fished Czech style again and tried to keep from snugging the bottom too much. Strong current made life difficult but managed a Grayling 10 inch. to top part of beat. Further down the beat nearer the bridge took a second but small fish and again all on a Jonathan Barnes pattern. Will try to copy this for the new season.

We had a few fish on the french leader and the golden killer salmon fly, mostly on drys like little olives. A Davis caught his first grayling, which he caught on the dry, had two in total, well done buddy.

Rather bright sunny day, river was quite low but coloured. Tough day. 3 barbel to 8lb 8ozs (disappointingly lost 2), 3 chub to 5lbs 9ozs all on standard feeder tactics. All fish in lovely condition. Thoroughly enjoyed the day.
