River un-fisherble due to heavy over night rain

River high, with only 1ft of clarity

3 Trout, 9 Grayling

All caught on maggots in first hour then nothing for the rest of the day.

4 Grayling, 4 Chub

Didn't fish today.

Well, the Arrow grayling seem to be scarce! The river was clear, albeit running a bit higher than is comfortable and the recent floods have changed the shape of the river in a few places . Fished all the way up through the beat as best I could with deep nymphs, the only takers being the trout. It's a lovely spot but not sure I'll go back for grayling.

First visit since the recent storm and flood. Phew what damage !! Running with pace and 0.134M on the gauge. No grayling unfortunately, however, 3 OOS trout that hadn't read the script. Pleasant couple of hours trotting with the only signs coming from the deeper runs.

Took a gamble given both weather and river conditions but chub only - but still a pleasant day

Good to return to this scenic beat with water lowish & clear.. Just a couple of hours before wind & rain arrived & nymphed only top pool without success. Floods have made access at bottom of beat more difficult with eroded banks.

River just manageable for fishing, settled down since recent flooding. Fished for 3 hours, caught 2 x 12"Grayling tight line nymphing, both caught on point fly, a hot spot gold perdigon to get down fast. KM Hereford

2 Grayling

Quite mild for the time of year, river a shade higher than I would have liked and crystal clear. Spent the morning fishing below the bridge in the deep pools with little reward ( 1 caught and one lost) above the bridge was a bit better but still hard to find many fish, grayling between 10 and 17" (2 more lost ? ) and trout 11". All fish on nymphs euro fished or indicator .
