There were a lot of anglers that had camped over night and when passing they had double figures of trout killed. A few that were way under sized. I think the bailiffs should be doing more random checks. I’ve fished up there regularly over last couple of years and yesterday was the only time I’ve seen the bailiff twice in one day.

Beautifully clear water and a nice level, although a touch more water may of got fish moving. Some cracking looking pools that I will be back to fish again later in the season.
A fun day had spotting chub, barbel and trout swimming around.
No sign of salmon, but a large march brown hatch had trout rising everywhere. Maybe a dry fly day would’ve been more productive.
The search for a springer on the wye continues!
