The river was a nice light green colour. Nice day, much warmer than last weekend! No fish seen. This could be down to me being a hack at Spey casting and the loads of groups in boats going past. Will be back to try again.

Nice venue, the water was clouded because of recent weather. Probably a bit early in the season for an estate lake and as such, nil caught nil seen.

River low and clear. Fished for salmon in the morning. No sign of any fish. Small hatch of March Browns in the afternoon sunshine encouraged me to have a try for trout, but to no avail. Pleasent day.

First chance to get out this season so spent a couple of hours on the top section only. Warm and bright with a light breeze. Persisted with selection of dry flies but saw sight nor sound of a fish and very little fly hatching. Only encouraging sign was a lot of fry in the warmer slacks.

Beautiful day! Got there just in time for the midday hatch. Trout rising but tricky fishing without waders [forgot them!]. A magical place to fish. I will return...with waders!
