Fished in the woods. Feeder and meat/pellets. Slow going but managed 14 decent chub in the end between my son and me with quite a few over 4lb. Very pleasant day but a barbel or two would have been nice!

A lovely day spent by the river but conditions not ideal, with hot sun all day. Saw a number of salmon in Vanstone but none showed any interest in our flies.

An evening session, river pitifully low so the fish were incredibly spooky. A couple landed, nothing big (8/9 inchers). A late evening spinner fall failed to materialise. The bedrock sections on the lower part are like black ice, expect to slip a few times even with studs!
