River quite low, quite heavy canoe traffic morning - early afternoon, bites for static baits hard to come by, fish taken on the float to bread, after 6pm. meat on the lead proved successful, Barbel conspicuous by their absence. Lot of work being done on the swims here, much appreciated, thank you.

Water level relatively low. A lot of new plant growth proved a challenge to reach the river in places. Five Grayling brought to the net. Three caught upstream of the bridge and two below the bridge - Black Klinkhammer, Parachute Adams.
Beautiful location and a great day fishing shared with kingfishers, pheasants and yellow wagtails.

Fished for only a few hours morning and evening - weather turned hot and canoe traffic became heavy during the day. Just the one Barbel to around 6lb and four Chub to around 3lb, all to feeder and pellet tactics. Overall enjoyable day on a scenic beat, very picturesque at dawn and dusk.

Frustrating day just below Bibbins bridge, opposite the beach. Struggled to find a swim that was accessible and would accommodate 2 of us. Plagued by eels. Didn't seem to matter what we put on the hook, it produced eels. My son caught one very small barbel.

Some activity in the ferry pool. Takes were exceptionally quick with a long line out and down so several fish missed. More adventurous wading and a shorter line, perhaps high sticking, would have produced more fish.
