First visit to this stretch. Well kept and Stefan, the bailiff, very helpful with his advice. Mainly roved around the bottom field catching on feeder and pellet with a little trotting meat in the middle of the day.

Day of spinning pins trotting for barbel and chub. Walked the length of the fishery 3-4 times trying all spots as fish spread about. Nice to see a couple of very fresh looking 3lb barbel. Great day out but could have left at 2pm as neither of us could get a bite after this, even when cheating and fishing a feeder. Was rather blustery and sun appeared a little though in the afternoon.

An unseasonably wet. cold, and very windy day - with gusts up to 37mph - made for very tough angling. A topping fish at the centre of the lake helped provide a target, and a long cast with a PVA bag of pellet and pop-up (to help fish over weed) brought a cracking chub. It's my second time on the Llyn - and the weather has been rough both times - but it is the most stunning location and, in the breaks between gusts/showers there are always opportunities! I hope to be back on a finer day to winkle one out the edge on traditional tactics.

Incredible piece of water and the fishing was outstanding. Will be back to this beat at some point. All of us on the beat pulled out double numbers in a morning session until around Lunch time. Early morning on the dry and later on were all on nymph.
