Lots of the stiles need attention. New gates in fence north side up steam of bridge very welcome

first visit to Penpont fished 9 - 3pm cold easterly wind no sign of hatch, manger 2 brown's on nymph from pocket water

Another cold, grey day. No fish rising. All fish took weighted nymphs

Nymphing.
It was cold with light intermittent drizzle and a cold upstream breeze through out the day.
River level was running at a good level and clear.
There was a light hatch of olives and the fish would occasionally rise, not consistently though. The fish seemed very selective and sluggish.

Overcast and quite cold for the time of year, with an intermittent swirling wind. Normal height, strong flow. Fish all looking very healthy, varying from approx 8-12”. Missed quite a few too.
