Faced some windy conditions with my 6’ #3 but persevered along the reservoir wall for about 2 hours. Managed to catch a lively wild brown on the left hand side (away from the highway) on an olive emerger nymph. Beautiful fish about 1lb.

Lovely few hours Good hatch of MBs at 1pm - took a while to find an imitation they'd take. 3rd attempt:
Then 1 fish about the pound - beautiful condition. Hatch lasted about 45 mins then totally dead
River in good nick & surprisingly clear
