Fished surprisingly well with fly and spinner but no fish seen. Water rising and snow rain and hail finally drove me from the river at 2.30. Nice to cast a fly for salmon again.

Ross AC member Jason Tapp caught a 19lb hen fish this afternoon in the pouring rain from Weirend beat on a Megabass plug.
The Wye was slowly rising and getting more coloured as the day went on.

Poor conditions, heavy rain and sleet/snow throughout the day. No significant hatch. Managed two brownies, the first around the 12" to other 15". Both fish took a PTN and were in excellent condition.
