Never fished here before so I'd thought I'd give it a go , good parking and access to the river , and a beautiful stretch of the Wye , Didn't know where to start really so just spent a lot of time casting around , lots of weed pushing through the river at the moment , clogging up the rigs quite quickly , but this is quite common for this time of year , didn't catch many fish but was happy to have a few out in such a nice setting , I will be back for another session , lots to explore !

River very low little evidence of fish.

Good day but no fly. All fish on nymphs

5.5lb slightly coloured cock fish for Matt Cooper this morning from Ross Angling Club waters at Benhall. Fish came to a home tied shrimp pattern.

Very enjoyable but missed the rise and so we caught nothing. Reminded of the beauty of the river though and sanity restored amidst the madness coming out of Welsh government at the moment.

Raising river, slight tint, 0.75m. pellet and pellet feeder, no fish when sunny
