This was my second visit to this beat , great venue ! Bright and sunny today and the river was just how you want it , flowing nicely and a bit of colour. All barbel were caught off the bottom , but the best catches were the chub whilst trotting , 3 of which were over 4lb , there is no better way to catch chub , some nice dace thrown in there to , fished from 1pm till 8:30pm , evening time providing the best sport.
Brilliant day !
