Not a great day for us, but we managed a couple of Chub to finish off our visit to the Wye.

1 Barbel, 21 Chub

Enjoyable days fishing at the top end, caught chub up to 4lb and a 8lb barbel last cast. Caught all fish ledgering using pellets and meat. Sorry to say but the river looked dead, no weed to speak of, and was low and brown compared to previous years

both caught end of ripples on nymph very little rising and not interested on what if offered
