Very bright but not complaining, lots of fly activity but no fish feeding. Managed 2. fish up to 14”

Warm water was choppy nothing taken with me no bites

Lovely day on the river, caught one brown trout about 1lb plus in weight on dry fly.

caught 1 nice rainbow trout. lost 1 by net.

Nice brown trout about 10-12 inch. Caddis nymph fished euro style. Lost another and missed a few. Lovely sunny day but no fish rising.

not a touch - and.....
Usk gauge showing 0.219m - I've read elsewhere that it's fishable under 0.3. I will definitely wait for it to drop more before another visit. At this level it's hard to fish the far bank unless you're a lot braver than me.
Weather was hot and sunny so not the best, visibility around 4ft.
Sporadic individual olives hatching (I was there from 11:30 to 4:30).
I saw 6 or 7 fish, all cruising up and down their patch of the right hand bank in less that 30cms depth - all very nervous.
I saw 5 or 6 rises.
But it is a lovely stretch, I walked from the top of the beat down to the shallows past the pipe.
