Many thanks for allowing us to fish this stretch. We had 3 barbel and 8 eels. River up and spots difficult to spot/hold.

3 barbel 2 chub caught on pellet and boilie. River rising,
difficult to fish. Thanks to wye and usk foundation.

CAUGHT 20 BARBEL OVER TWO DAY'S FISHING LEGS MEADOW AND THE STEP'S. BIGGEST 9LB 13 OZ. LOST A VERY BIG FISH ON PEG 1 LEGS MEADOW. THANK'S TO DON FOR HIS ADVICE VERY NICE CHAP.

Barbel to 7lbs, chub to nearly 5 (+ an eel), all on PL meat in slacker water. River rising slightly & very coloured. Some tricky/slippery areas on bank but super day. Good assistance/advice from Adam.

5 barbel on pellet. Short session as on other beats. All fish had bad hook damage and one a big size 8 hook.

River rising throughout the morning. Nothing seen or felt!

15 B Trout caught and we got a real soaking. Small fish but two or three about 9in. Would be good on dry day.

Another change in the weather, back to the rain. Fished until underpants wet (about 4pm) then gave up but still very enjoyable. 3 x small barbel, 3 x small chub, all on pellet.

First time on the Wye. A literal baptism. High water and lots of rain for most of the day. Caught one chub to save the day. Looking forward to another day when or if we get proper summer.
