River very high and dirty with a large amount of weed coming down river making fishing very difficult. Very few fishing pegs fishable. Only two chub caught around three pound caught.

First time on the River Wye for all three of us. River was at around three meters and rising. Found a few slacks on the inside to fish but had no bites on three rods. Would like to come back on better conditions.

Although the weather was atrocious and we had to drive through floods to get there we still caught a few fish, 5 barbel to 10lb 1oz and a couple of small chub.

A very wet day but a good day of fishing. 8 grayling between us, 4 of which in excess of 15" and one 18"+, all caught on small Adams.
