Awesome day on the Wye considering the bright hot conditions. My friend had never caught a barbel or chub before and that didn't last long! 8lb was the biggest fish of the day with lots of 6's and 7's. All taken on pellet or boiies.

Great venue, well worth the £5 return taxi to the fishery. Its a walk! 8 barbel and 6 chub all caught on halibut and feeders. The water levels are very low and the sun was a nightmare. Most catches came in the morning and late evening. Best looking fishery we have fished and we have fished plenty of Wye and Usk Foundation.

A fantastic days fishing in hot and sunny conditions. Fish caught throughout the day despite the low clear water and heat. Barbel were between 4 and 8 pounds. Cannot wait to come back.

Lovely day, x6 grayling to 2.5lbs and 5 trout to just over a pound. Whilst playing a nice sized grayling, an otter, also took the fish and left me with the head!

We had a great days fishing with four barbel caught 6am - 7am then quiet until 2pm with 2 two barbel in 10 mins, six in total, same swim. Chub caught on bread when not fishing for barbel. All barbel in fantastic condition and between 6 - 9lb. Never saw a person all day but loads of wildlife. Had to leave for wives unfortunately at 5.30pm so missed a bit!

Standard feeder / pellet approach accounted for most fish, which due to low river conditions came in the morning and evening. Biggest Barbel 8lb 14 oz.
First river Barbel, we were seriously impressed by the service and ethos of WUF.
