River dropping after recent rain but still a little high. Located grayling in slower water off bends or near bank. Idyllic setting, shall try again in the spring!

2 Grayling

Bitterly cold wind, ledgered spam not a touch, however what a fabulouse place to fish, will be back.

2 barbel both doubles, 17 chub to 6.5 lbs

That was tough going - level on the up approaching 3.5 metres- but still an enjoyable day with weather very pleasant for a change. Just 1 barbel around 6lb and 2 chub

The river was falling after the previous days rain. Sadly no grayling were landed but a few slipped the hook. One small chub from the lower end of the beat broke up the trout fest.

A very cold and rising river meant that only a couple of small trout saved the blank.

river very high and colored, return visit after wash off last visit, nothing caught all day, only just about fishable really.
but end of year so had to take wash off day.
