Very challenging conditions with the river at 4.2m. We decided to give it a go, so descended the steep hill and luckily found a few slacks. It was hard going but three barbel was a decent return considering the river was almost unfishable.

Love a bit of high water level fishing, all caught with boillies and 6 oz feeders.

15 Barbel, 5 Chub

River approx 4-5 feet up and pushing through and well colored,water temp 12.4 deg fished pellet feeder and boilie in near side slacks 2 barbel first thing and 1 eel when I tried meat 3 more barbel late in the day.

Again we did not fish as the weather was just to bad.We do not have a 4x4 car so we would not take the risk to use the car park down the hill,and the walk from the the church car park was to treacherous under foot and far to long to find a fishable swim in the conditions.

Fishing a rising river with good "muddy" colour. Fished the creases in the first meadow. Fish to feeder & pellet & meat feeder.

Best barbel 8.12, best chub 4.8. River had risen significantly from previous day so some swims opposite the wood were not accessible.
