Bank high river, but a 9lb barbel was caught on meat. 4 rods fished

2 Barbel, 2 Chub

River had good colour & was pushing through looked like it had dropped overnight as banks were treacherous started in the cattle drink swim & hooked a Barbel after a couple of hours witch came off, cast back to the same spot & hooked another one soon after which put up an awesome fight all quiet after so moved down to the bottom field where the Chub were in residence, a lovely sunny day, love coming here stayed until sunset in the hope the Barbel would feed again, all fish caught on feeder tactics with Robin red pellets

River was up and coloured, but dropping. Wooded section unfishable with so much water on. Stayed in the meadow and enjoyed ourselves.

River well up - didn’t spend long fishing, couldn’t reach all the bottom swims where we wanted to go

The river was very high and sadly we couldn't find the fish.

We had a go ! The river was nearly 4 metres with whole trees floating past
