Just over half a mile (1.1km) of double bank fishing for wild brown trout and grayling on the river Taff from the footbridge to the confluence of the river Cynon. Fly, worm and spinning permitted. No spinning permtted outside the trout season.

Although close to Abercynon, the stretch has a rural feel away from the town. Because of the close proximity to the town, there maybe other river users present on warm summer days.

There are no dedicated parking areas, however there is main road parking nearby.

Exclusivity is not guaranteed, this is club water and other anglers may be present.

There are two other fisheries available to fish on this ticket. The Pont y Gwaith to Edwardsville stretch on the Taff and the Bargoed Park lake. Maps for all three are available on booking.
