River was low and clear which made it hard to get bites during sunny spells. Bites came when light was low. Fished several spots on this lovely fishery and found a spot which has clearly not been fished too many times and thats where we found some fish. All fish came from this spot. Biggest barbel just over 8 pounds. Some swims definitely require a rope which I will bring next time. Lovely looking stretch and many interesting swims. Most fish came to big chunks of spam. Lovely beat and requires work and thinking to get bites but rewarding once you find fish and crack the code.

River was at low, fairly clear condition and the fish I caught on feeder filled with a mix of 8mm pellets, crushed pellets ground bait, casters and hemp, the bait was hair riged 15mm bloodworm dumbbell. The weight of the fish was 5lbs 11oz

Nice day overall, unfortunately the number of canoes on the river didn't allowed me to use the full potential of the opposite bank, and after a cast past the mid river when canoes activity died off, at last knockings around half 7pm received the long waited bite of a pristine 5lb 11oz chub that made my whole trip from London worthy

We only fished in one swim for a couple hours just up from the woods, we had a few knocks but no fish. It was a picturesque stretch that I would love to have another shot at
