What a fabulous stretch and some lovely swims. Meat seems to be the bait at the moment. All the barbel were a nice size but nothing over 7.5lb. Only negative is the walk up the hill both ways, it is horrendously steep. Will certainly be back again.

Great Day out on this lovely stretch.water was pushing through but managed a few fish from wooded area and field below... fish taken on pellet and meat. Barbel up to 9.07 and chub to 4

Had a great day on this beat , water was rising for a while but didn't ruin the fishing. The large fresh cut branches that some fool decided to throw in upstream could have but luckily we saw them in time. Most barbel were between 6 & 8 lbs , with one being 10 lbs 2 ounces .
