River is extremely low, lots of salmon. hooked one on a largish green nymph but lost him after 10 mins, only had 4lb leader so probably would never have got him in anyway. lots of grayling about.

6 brownies in 30 minutes on small mayfly drys, started rising at about 8 pm, full of hungry fish at the minute, salmon fighting up through the rapids! should have brought flying c!

Mayfly out in number this evening took 5-6 trout on dry mayfly then switched to small spinner pattern to take another 18+ trout a couple of grayling and chub. Nothing big but a beautiful evening.

River very low and not a salmon seen. A note for WUF- the middle access via the the farm is not possible. After the first gate, the farmer has blocked the track with an electric fence.
