I know only a small stretch, but maybe only 3 possible fishable pegs. Water was very low and clear.

2 carried on fishing from the day before.
A few chub in the morning but came home mid afternoon due to the heat and the lack of swims that were available (overgrown / very steep).
As mentioned in yesterdays report, i really think this stretch could do with a bit of maintenance. None of the swims have been cut out in any way & for £25 per day, we expected better fishing conditions.

3 anglers fished.
Great days fishing in not ideal weather (very sunny).
Chub came pretty consistently & barbel at the start and end of the day.
It’s a shame there’s not more of the bank thats been maintained to be fishable.

Not easy to find access gate drove past 3 times, in good wheather getting car down to river is fine, but i would think long and hard if there had been any rain. The surroundings are fantastic and the world seems miles away it is so peaceful.
i knew it was a very short stretch and it says there are 5 swims but in my opinion there are only 3 swims and in the very low gin clear conditions 2 of these swims are unfishable outside of early morning or in the evening.
We did catch some nice chub on ledgered meat but patience was the order of the day. you need river conditions to be spot on
