One 12" trout on nymph. Lovely beat.

River low and clear, no fish caught or seen.
Parking place outside the hotel full of picnic benches and flower pots! Parked in hotel car park.

Very hot. River low. Beautiful day wading in the river.

Very little moving or hatching whilst I was there. 1 why on a ptn

No country for old men ???? Including boiling temperatures, low water and geography this was very difficult fishing 10 - 16:00. Little hatching. Trout came to BWO and emerging olive. Biggest 10". I did manage to use my 9' /4. Simple rig of 7' braided leader/5' tippet.

Largest about a pound. Both on a small pheasant tail nymph.

River running low and muddy making site fishing impossible plenty of fly life in the air and on the water but fish not interested caught two small trout about 10 inches on nymph in faster water
