Fishing:Winter Grayling
No. of Anglers:1
Surprisingly the water level was quite low with just a tinge of colour. Started off wet and windy but gradually improved as the day progressed. Hard fishing but had a short successfull spell (approx midday) when landed 3 decent grayling between 1 and 1.75lb. All cheque nymphing just downstream from the brick barbecue.

River, and fishing, suffered from tree felling on the Malthouse beat resulting in leaves and branches on and in the river. No rises until late afternoon when Pale Watery and olives appeared. Magnificent 12" trout and small grayling caught on Diawl Bach.
