Fished from top of beat to road bridge in the 3 hours I had. Nothing seen or caught.

Guiding the Young family. Fished late afternoon. Just the one trout about 13 inches, together with a collection of out of season grayling, on various dries. Some grannom on the water.

1 Trout

The longer evenings now allow for a decent session after work. Water 1ft 8" and very clear. Saw a fish in Bridge but couldn't get it to take properly. One was lost in Upper Glangwye from the Spreadeagle side.

Afternoon on the river on a glorious spring day, no salmon seen but river looked good. Hearing of all the action in Hereford it shouldn't be long before they will offer them selves up anywhere on the river.
Message to self, put the trout rod in next time, lunchtime was alive with trout rising to a half decent hatch of olives, 14:30 onwards till 16:00. Spring is here today but possibly gone tomorrrow.

Great end to season, 8lb hen fish. Another one on briefly and a great display of fun in the fast water from an otter.

River in good condition, no salmon seen. 2 Trout and a very playful Otter that followed my fly all the way across the river to the dangle!

2 Trout

No salmon caught or seen. River was a good height, 2ft 3in, but was very dirty.

River still coloured.

Only managed an hour on the water, but the 2nd lie covered produced a very coloured 10lb cock fish to a size 8 Bann shrimp fished on a fast sinking sink tip. River at 1ft 5" and still pretty coloured (20" vis). Saw three other running fish. The friend who fished the rod in the morning, saw 10 in a couple of hours, but failed to get a touch.
