We only had 2 hours of fishing as it was raining most of the day. 1 very small trout on a dry fly was the only nibble in those 2 hours.

River very low and clear and bright and sunny.Small grayling and a chub about 3lb on a size 12 executioner double whilst fishing for salmon!

Started at the Rectory then worked down through the bottom pools, very quite with no salmon showing at all.. River is on its bones still, needs a good bit of water . Can only hope for some water soon.

Bright sun and 28 degrees so I didn’t have high hopes. I do hate it when I’m right. I did see three salmon, two on the horseshoe bend and one in Rectory, but had no takes.
