very bright and very hot, river low in evening nothing showed fished for 1 hour nothing caught

Fished all day long and hard in all pools didn't see a fish or touch one. A lot of Shad caught on both methods of fishing

Fished for salmon - caught a small sea trout and two shad. Hooked a salmon on the retrieve but it got off.

Just thought it might be worth fishing the small overnight rise. Two small trout to an Usk grub early on, then the colour deteriorated quickly early afternoon. Not sure if it had a slight green tinge to it as well sadly.
No salmon caught or seen.

Brown Trout and Shad for Tomasz G. Pike for Martin and another Shad for Robert. No Salmon had been encountered.

Bright and sunny to start, but more overcast later. Most fish from the top of the beat on nymphs.

No fish caught. Heavy tug on salmon fly recorded at 1815 hours mid stream below suspension Bridge
River was running clear and about one foot below optimum level.

Good fly hatch on the sides late afternoon

River level marginally low. Clear water. Small trout came to my fly on Neck of Spring pool. Big fish showed once in Cottage Pool. After 6 pm, in Aubrey's Cast, (near exposed rock on Left side) a good 'tug' on my fly, size 12 hook, double, Fly Willi Gunn.

Started early fished from the bridge pool up to house pool with water looking good only Shad and a couple of greedy small trout so far, up to Hellrig and noticed a new big pot at the end of the pool. Fished the fly through the put a Rappala on fished down to the end and bang fish on and then off. Fished up all the way then to the top of Spring pool, That was me then all fished out

Fished all day with Ian. He lost a fish but I didn't have a touch apart from Shad. I went up again in the evening to fish the Bridge pool and house pool, again Shad after Shad but no salmon, strange really as fish below and above being caught nothing on this beat though
