well last day on the river for 2020 season. Rose a smallish fish on the very top boards but did not connect ,Fished all the way down to the hut ,with not a touch or sight of a fish.
Oh well there is always next season

I had some excitement in the morning when I thought I was into a salmon in the Gromain Cottage Pool. It turned out to be a 5lb trout. Apart from that, no salmon seen.

Fished today ,started right at the top boards off the beat, 10 -15 casts and bang into a fish. A good scrap and I managed to land him a 12lb fish not showing his colour yet .Went back strongly
