Very limited places to fish . There were a few other anglers float fishing and lots of youngsters camping on the banks with fires light . After miles of walking the south side of the lake i managed a few casts at the dam before leaving.

Fishing on bottom. Calm first thing. Caught 5 in first 2 hours. Wind picked up and nothing for 3 hours. Worm bait.

A cracking day's fishing with my grandson 9 years old and he had a wonderful day. All what I had taught him he put into action today. Within 10 mins of setting up he had a bite, struck, fish on played and landed it all on his own. 1 proud grandfather, from then on it was if I was the student fish 2, 3, and 4 all caught within the 1st 2 hours.
Followed with a quite spell then lunch time fish 5 and 6.
On our way home it was time to reflect on a superb day watching my 9 year old grandson turn into a very good young angler.
