Three fish caught on worm one on spinner. The otter was about in the morning - nice to see but a pain in the butt.

Fished as I would a wild lough in Ireland, but the static anglers were too plentiful to be able to keep moving; many of them practising dark and mysterious arts unknown to the naive fly angler! Still, the only trout I did manage was quite small and perfectly finned so I guess it was not a wild fish. Not really the place to go if you love wild fishing.

I caught 4 fish with worm. Good day, really enjoyed it, chatted to other anglers, they were having a good day too.

Weather dry but overcast during morning to mid-afternoon when it turned to light rain conditions. Not a very successful days fishing. The consolation (if any) was that other anglers in the vicinity appear to have had a similar fishing experience.

4 quick fish taken and I mean quick. Fished to an early-ish rise 8.30am, limit taken by 9.15am. All taken on a mepps silver spinner. Weather showery and over cast.
