Five Rainbow Trout.

No bites all day.

6 Rainbow trout caught on spinner. One small but beautiful Brown Trout caught on same method and returned to the water. Good quality fish but a little on the small side in the main. However, the water is well stocked and good fishing is available. Many anglers enjoy the chance to spin for trout here. Very glad to be able to book online. I have recomended this venue to others for the last 25 years.
My only suggestion is that trees and bushes on the Cwm Cadlan side that are near the waters edge should be cut back, at least in a few places between the old stocking ramp and the bridge. When the water is full a large portion of the bank is not accesible to anglers which is a shame. Overall though a great place to fish and in the main well maintained.

3 rainbow trout were caught, all on worm and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

No fish caught

Only caught 1 rainbow trout between the 2 of us. We lost 2 others though and were only there for 3 hours. Trout approx 1.5lbs.
Nice lake and easy system to book. Would prefer to have option for half day prices.

I have been fishing 3 times and have caught rainbow trout, the biggest was 4lbs 3oz, caught them on worm.

Two Rainbow Trout caught both about 1.5 lbs, both caught on a small orange lure fished on intermediate line on the west bank of the reservoir

4 rainbow trout caught, 1 on a toby (1.5lb), 3 on worm (2x1.5lb, 1x5.5lb) all good condition, fishing off the west bank. Good days fishing.
