Thank you for your help. first time on your waters. Email communication with Dai was really useful prior to departure and booking by telephone was made easy.
Nymph fished, full, coloured stream. Will return to Dulas and Abbey Dore in the future.

2 grayling about 9" on a Sawyer nymph fished deep. Couldn't find a shoal, if there were any. Could not get through some pools even with chest waders - the farmer says his dad remembers the military scooping gravel out of the river many years ago, and the pools have not filled up again. Unusual day, with the historic Abbey on one side of the river and the army blasting away on exercises on the other!

A couple of hours spent nymphing. Water levels on Dore slightly deeper than hoped. Sadly could only connect with brownies today and failed to locate the Dore grayling. Nice little beat.
