Terrible days fishing, one slight knock, then nothing. I dont understand why you can only fish from eight in the morning when there is a catch limit. Could you please review this rule

A good 14" BT in beat 2 on a PTN followed by another smaller fish shortly after.
Also in the same beat saw a fish taking emerging nymphs, threw a sedge fly at it and had an instant take, very satisfying!
Late afternoon had another nice BT in the Erwood pool on a dry fly at the head of the entrance to the rapids.
Overall had a very good couple of weeks at Ty Newydd, landed about 30 fish, mainly BT, a couple of grayling. All despite challenging fast flow and high water 2 weeks ago and high temperatures stopping fishing for about 5 days followed by low water but I guess that's fishing!

River obviously low at the moment but had an odd brown tinge whether that is algae related I’m not sure. Fish not enthusiastic as usual but could still be recovering from spawning they all looked in great condition. Combination of float & feeder. Evening didn’t throw up the usual burst of activity. Overall a good day in fantastic scenery and the bonus of seeing only one canoe !

1 Barbel, 3 Chub
