Not ideal conditions river as conveyed by every feedback form lately river is on its knees and desperately needs rain tried several swims unfortunately another angler fishing opposite bank in faster water swim so not able to fish more oxygenated water,there seems to be a lot of silkweed which makes presentation difficult fished groundbait feeder with meat on the hook for 3chub.

Water very low as I expected. Tried various swims but found them in the end! Biggest barbel was about 7lb. Really enjoyable day thank you

River very low on a very hot day. Two fished for 4 to 5 hours catching 30 chub, 22 on float and 8 by cage feeder, using pellets and luncheon meat.
