Access to the river was not easy. Very over grown from path. Made fishing locations limited. It would be good if the pools were sign posted from the path with a map sent as part of the booking. Like done on the Ure by Swinton Estate

Waded top stretch, long trotting into likely spots. 1 chub caught on bread flake. Please note, if you are fishing from the bank there is currently only 1 fishable swim. Top field stile inaccessible. Beware as you circumvent this stile - there is ragged barbed wire hidden in the undergrowth which ripped through my waders.
The entire beat is not ready for fishing this season.

Lovely but tough day searching for risers, not much of a hatch but great to be out - found a few midge feeders later. Stumbled upon 3 large giant hogweed plants among the Japanese knotweed while trying to get to the river opposite the waterworks - if in doubt be vigilant!
