A dry overcast day. Did not see any carp or signs of carp at all. I caught 6 small Roach all on bread or maggot. Lovely setting.

Report for PF. River conditions were excellent, with the river rising after 2 days rain. Barbel we’re in a feeding frenzy with the biggest being exactly 10lb. Fantastic day!

Superb day with the river and the barbel on sparkling form. Biggest fish was 10 lb 12oz. Excellent sport!

Very slow , no fish caught

Originally booked with some late summer trotting in mind but the weather had other ideas with a near 1 metre rise in levels in two days leaving the croy at the upstream end under water. Ledger tactics with feeder and boilie accounted for all but one of the 11 barbel and the chub, unusually for this stretch, just weren't interested.
