2 barbel going over 9lb and both chub over 4lb, great day fishing and water levels look much up from yesterday but dropping through out the day.

4 Barbel, 2 Chub

Fished the croys area of beat, adjacent to fishing hut. Struggled with pace of river flow, chub were all caught in the morning and 1 eel in the afternoon. Two good bites on the feeder where line zipped of the reel by didn't materialize to a catch. Lovely spot tho.

Needs a good flush. Too much weed coming through. Couldn't keep the rods in longer than a few minutes. Managed to fluke one 7lb barbel to save a blank

Lovely days fishing on the Wye at Sugwas. 2x Chub at 2lb came quickly but that was all the action we had from them.
4x immaculate barbel to 9lb exactly caught, with bites spread a fair while apart.
All fish caught using open end feeder tactics.

River at nice level. Water clear. Fish activity in the evening.

Again a lovely day on this stretch of river,
Barbel coming steadily from a decent sized pool until 4 canoes capsized and fell into the river disturbing the swim.

7 Barbel, 4 Chub

Had fished various beats all week. This was my last day and was looking forward to a good days catch but got down the track only to be caught up in heavy thunderstorms, waited for an hour checked forecast and didn't look like weather was going to let up so called it a day before track became to difficult to get up. Not what I wanted but that's life. Still had a good week. So happy days.

Didn't start catching until late afternoon. Originally wanted to fish float but the river had risen since previous day so fished feeder instead.

7 Chub

2 Anglers, fished various swims throughout the stretch with the majority of chub falling to the float and rolling meat tactics. 1 barbel on the straight lead.
